LOXE Hotel – Key Card Encoder

Download the app from the Microsoft Store

• Open the Microsoft Store and search for "LOXE Hotel", or click the button below.
• Click "Get" and wait for the installation to complete.

Install the Card Encoder driver

• Download the driver file using the button below.
• Unzip the downloaded file.
• Double-click CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Start the program

• Plug in the Card Encoder via USB.
• Open "LOXE Hotel" from the Start menu.
• Log in with the same credentials you use on the LOXE hotel portal (hotel.loxe.io).

Initialize the Card Encoder

You need to link the encoder to your hotel before first use.

• Click Menu → Initialize → Encoder…
• Click "Initialize Card Encoder" and wait for the confirmation.

Initialize Cards

Each key card must be initialized with your hotel before it can be issued to guests. An initialized card cannot be used at any other property.

1. Click Menu → Initialize → Cards…
2. Enter the number of key cards you want to initialize.
3. Click Start.
4. Place the cards on the encoder one by one — you will hear a short beep and the counter will increment.
5. To stop early, simply wait: the operation will time out automatically.
